Pollutant dispersion in a group of courtyard buildings

As stated by the World Health Organization (WHO), air pollution in urban environment is silent cause for around seven million death worldwide. This due to indoor and outdoor exposure various pollutants emitted built environment: as global trend an increase of population living towns, this issue predicted become even worser. a matter fact, can trapping instead their dispersion. In work, dispersion plume pollutant (carbon monoxide, CO), from chimneystack above roof courtyard group courtyards, investigated. achieved employing ENVI-met software, able model, among others, turbulence environment. Results show, how upstream building harm also downstream buildings.
